All We Need Is Just A Little Patience
EDIT:
I jumped the gun! It appears the Jamie and Patience show will not be immediately cancelled.

I am not happy about this news. Not happy at all. I am in love with Karr's defense attorneys! Jamie Harmon and Patience Van Zandt. See them here. Seriously, I'm certain that if you saw their news conference following their retention by Karr, you are just as in love with them as I am. If Karr, isn't charged that means Jamie and Patience will not be on my telly anymore. Just when I found them, I lost them.

Ummmm, aren't you going to do an Emmy's-review post? I didn't watch the whole thing, but would love to know what you thought about it.
Somehow, the TV got switched to Grey's Anatomy and I watched the entire episode. I'm pretty convinced I should pick this up as a new show next season. OK, I'm totally convinced.
Will be awaiting an Emmy's post. Your audience is getting demanding...
re: Emmy's = ascots bad
I didn't see the Emmys, actually. I read the recap this morning, and apparently I missed a pretty good show. Everyone seemed to think Conan O'Brien did a great job.
I wish Lisa Kudrow would have won for The Comeback, and I wish one of the Grey's actresses would have won too. Also, I think Peter Krause should have won. I read an article last week about how the Emmy nomination selection process was changed this year and that is why shows like Lost and Sopranos weren't heavily nominated.
I think you will really like Grey's Anatomy, Deanna, if only for the music. I want to try and get into House this season.
Regarding Jamie Harmon and Patience Van Zandt, I think you have the makings of a hit-reality TV program on your hand. Look at how ready they are for their 15 minutes.
Too bad there is no bio on Patience. But they included the PET PARROT?? Unreal!
I'm glad Jeremy Piven won something. Although I haven't seen the show he is in, I've always been a fan because he seemed so under-appreciated and his longtime friendship with John Cusack who I've loved forever.
I've always HATED the previews for House and vowed never to watch it, but then I was forced to watch an episode sometime this past year and it was pretty good. Not sure I could really get into it every week, but it was good.
I can't get over the fact Patience and crew included the office pet on their lawfirm's website. It seems to work for them somehow. I'm sure the press conference was a real treat.
Patience Van Zandt busted in drug raid! Great mug shot with story here:
http://www.siskiyoudaily.com/news/x762572278/Local-narcotics-drug-bust-nabs-three?img=2
Yreka, Calif. — On July 30, 2008, the Siskiyou County-wide Interagency Narcotic Task Force (SCINTF), along with officers from the Yreka Police Department and deputies from the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Department, executed a narcotic search warrant at the home of David Hardy, 417 W. Lennox St. in Yreka.
Agents were required to force entry into the home because the occupants refused to answer the door.
David Hardy attempted to flee out the back door of the residence, but was quickly detained by law enforcement.
During a sweep of the residence, agents located a subject identified as Patience Van Zandt sleeping in the master bedroom of the residence and a subject identified as Dale Crane at the residence.
During a search of the residence and associated vehicles, agents located and seized evidence of a narcotic distribution operation.
Additionally, the exterior of the residence was found to be outfitted with concealed audio/video surveillance cameras and multiple police scanners were located inside the residence.
Narcotics seized include approximately 3/4 of a pound of marijuana (packaged in individual baggies for sales purposes), approximately two grams of methamphetamine (packaged in individual baggies for sales purposes) and a small amount of cocaine.
Also located were a digital scale, packaging materials, $2,150 cash and paraphernalia used for the ingestion of controlled substances.
Hardy, Crane and Van Zandt were transported to the Siskiyou County Jail and were booked for multiple felony narcotic offenses.

Even better: Patience Van Zandt accused of biting jail officer
Another great mug shot!

YREKA — A 42-year-old Montague woman’s arrest on suspicion of drunken driving turned into a more serious accusation Thursday when she bit an officer trying to book her into jail, deputies said.
Patience Van Zandt was pulled over at 4:25 p.m. in Montague and arrested on suspicion on driving drunk, said Susan Gravenkamp, a spokeswoman for the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office.
But when she was admitted to the Siskiyou County jail on the misdemeanor allegation, she allegedly bit a correctional officer during the booking process, Gravenkamp said.
She’s now being held on suspicion of felony battery of a custodial officer. Her bail was set today at $25,000.
Cannot WAIT for Patience and Jamie to be disbarred! Jamie's money laundering case goes to the jury today. Karma has risen up and bitten both of them in their fat asses....

A federal jury today convicted San Jose defense lawyer Jamie Harley (AKA Jamie Harmon) of five counts of laundering money for a former client.
After more than two days of deliberations, the jury came back with a verdict that could spell the end of Harley's legal career and send her to federal prison. The jury deadlocked on one count against Harley that charged her with conspiracy to commit money laundering for her former client, Christian Pantages, who testified against her at the trial.
The 53-year-old Harley, formerly known as Jamie Harmon, was indicted two years ago on charges of laundering more than $100,000 for Pantages, who was facing state charges of trafficking in stolen computer equipment.
During the trial, Harley denied knowing the money was from an illicit business and insisted she returned the money to Pantages and his wife as their state case unfolded.
U.S. District Judge James Ware is scheduled to sentence Harley in October.
Jamie Harmon Harley (et al) is as evil as they come. Just thank God you are not her child or husband ! However if you are among the very unfortunate number of her victims, you join the growing ranks of abused clinet in so many ways. What is vitally important is that you express your right to contact Judge Ware before her sentencing date October 25th (2010) with a letter of recommendation that he impose the MAXIMUM sentence to insure Ms. Harmon/Harley is too old to practice law by the time she steps out of her Fed. Pen. issued designer duds. Please EVERYONE who has been damaged by her, be sure to write a detailed account of how she victimized and traumatized you. Be assured these letters will be considered when the Judge is deciding on her fate. Do not hesitate to have your voice be heard~~This is very important!
Awwww! You all are so nice! All I can say is, I bet my life is a lot less boring than yours! Woo-hoo! Imagine, while all these things were going on in my life, you were sitting around, saying mean things about someone you don't know, who has never hurt you in any way. Darn, no wonder I drank! So, thanks for your support. Better go watch American Idol, or the Bachelorette, or whatever it is that YOU do for fun. Cheers!
Patience
