What About Prom, Blane?!

Last night, I went to dinner at Zola. I highly recommend it. They serve "small plates" almost like tapas. I call them "little dinners." The drinks are good and the atmosphere is great. Give it a go.

Yesterday, I purchased two dvd's: The Breakfast Club and Pretty in Pink the "Everything's Duckie Edition." The special features are great. Who knew the original ending had Andie and Duckie getting together? But it had to be rewritten because Molly didn't have the right chemistry with Jon. And in the prom scene, Andrew McCarthy is actually wearing a wig. There is a song featured in the extras that isn't in the soundtrack that is driving me crazy. I don't know the name, the artist, or even a snippet of the lyrics, but I know that I know the song and I have to have it. So I'll be burning up the internet trying to find it this afternoon.

I leave for Las Vegas tonight. A weekend at the Bellagio. I opened the summer by spending Memorial Day weekend at the Bellagio, so it is only fitting that I close the summer there as well.
