When I Am Wrong
I am wrong.
I thought The Office (US version) would be a disaster and I hated the first couple episodes. And now, I love it so. How can it not be completely lovable when even the simple episode descriptions crack me up:
"The office is in crisis mode after a large shipment of Dunder Mifflin paper is accidentally sent out with an obscene watermark -- and Michael tries to manage the media with an impromptu press conference. Jim and Andy also attempt to calm the high school principal who has sent out prom invites on the affected stationery."
And for decades - at least two - I've thought I hated canned albacore tuna. Probably because as a kid it was always served with mayonnaise. Last night, I took a risk and put canned albacore on spinach leaves, added carrots and tarragon vinegar, and had a delicious dinner.
OT: In the preview for Grey's Anatomy this week, did anyone else think Callie's "I can't compete with you, just give me my husband back!" line was a little to close to Dolly Parton's Jolene?
Today's Song: Orange County, Stefy (Seriously, what is this song? I caught it on the radio and thought I'd gotten suckered into some Christian song. No, it's Top 40.)

I know what you mean about the tinned tuna. Only last week, I thought I'd give it a try and put some on my spinach salad for lunch and actually got so full, I couldn't eat all of it. I think tuna quality is just better these days than it was when we were kids. Did I really just say all that about tuna?
Callie, do you really want a husband you have to compete for? Do you?
I can empathize with you...when I'm wrong, I'm wrong too! Remember the blended bloody Mary?!
I like to add capers and a squeeze of lemon to my tuna. Wild Oats actually has a great tuna salad in the deli. They add dried cranberries to it. It's not too mayonnaisey either. Although I suppose any mayo is too much for you, right?
Oh my gosh Aunt, we were just laughing about the blended bloody mary the other day. "Let's put carrots in it!" Tomato smoothie = not good.
You never know until you try, right?
