Helpful hint.

When leaving a phone number in a voicemail message, sssslllllloooooowwwww down. And say it twice. It is so frustrating when someone leaves a message and then at the end they spit out the phone number as a fast as they can.

I agree. I also like it when sales reps leave their name again at the end of the message. I usually don't start writing until I know what the call is about and by then, I've forgotten their name.

I like messages that say name/number at both beginning and end. What I DON'T like is people that choose not to leave messages and then get upset that the person they're calling doesn't return the call they don't know was made. Really?

I totally agree. As long as we're on the topic, I get so bugged when I get calls from these egotistical people at work that I've never even heard of that say, "Hello, this is So and so, call me back please." If they don't tell me who they are with and what they want, they ain't getting a call back from me.
