I Hate It When . . .
You know the people you see everyday in your office building, or gym, or similar, but you don't talk to or acknowledge. You know they work in your office building, and they know you work in theirs, but nothing is ever said between you? No hello's, or head nods or anything - because, well, why would you? BUT THEN, you see them somewhere unexpected and all of a sudden you or they say "hello" in say a Target in Ogden? And from then on when you see them in the usual place, you now have to acknowledge them all because you ran into them at a Target in Ogden. Yes, I hate that.
Keith didn't just get kicked off the show because of pattern books. There was more. But don't make a big deal about the "integrity of the show and competition" Mr. Tim Gunn because we all know that the producers have considerable say on the decision as to "who will stay, and who must leave." And that decision is based on which contestants will attract viewers and/or create buzz.
I recommend both Scoop and An Inconvenient Truth.

Did you really like Scoop? I wasn't thrilled with it. I thought Scarlet's performance was disappointing, she tried to overplay the role. Hugh, on the other hand, was delish!
Yes, I did. Although S's performance can be criticized, I thought she did quite well having to be onscreen the whole time with neurotic Woody - who was also directing. Poor girl was just trying to keep up and she was obviously fighting an uphill battle. Really, what young actress could have done better? Oooo . . . Lauren Ambrose, maybe? But she'd have been overshadowed by Hugh. And that's the Catch-22 for the actresses part: be attractive enough for Hugh, but witty and intelligent enough for Woody. Tough role to fill.
One of the previews was for "Wordplay" but for the life of me, I couldn't think of anyone I know that would be interested in seeing a documentary about crossword puzzles.
You just liked "Scoop" because of your love of Scarlet.
Sara's husband would see "Wordplay".
I'm not going to lie to you...I'd see "Wordplay".
I saw the preview for "Quinceanera"...I'm dying to see it.
the real question is why are you going to Target in Ogden?
uh hum . . . *timidly raises hand and squeaks* I have been dying to see "Wordplay" ever since it debuted at Sundance. I still have my Will Shortz button pin. Sadly, I may have to wait for the DVD.
Does anyone want to see "The Descent"? I do.
