Happy Halloween

Is anyone in costume today? I'm not, but I'd like to know if you are or your office mates are or your kids are. Declare yourselves in the comments.

My favourite Halloween costume ever is the Batman costume my mom made for me when I was five. I think I wore it as everyday wear until I finally grew out of it. And were I to dress up today, I would first consider a superhero costume.

I need some candy right now.

Need some what? Superhero powers?
I broke out my Red Sox gear from 2003 (when they were still losers) and came as obnoxious World Series Champion Red Sox fan. Really, just an excuse to wear a sweatshirt to work. The office is also featuring a chef, a pregnant pumpkin, an American Indian chief and a baby peacock. My favorite costume was the flamenco dancer outfit my parents made for me when I in 4th grade. I'm pretty sure the kids at Monroe Elementary didn't know what I was supposed to be, but to this day, I'm proud of that costume.

Random thoughts: I'm not dressed up and neither are the packs of high school kids coming to the door. There have been a few cute little kids. Whoppers are a big hit. Do you have trick-or-treating hours published in the local newspaper? We do, yes, everything is supposed to be wrapped up by 7pm! Normally I would like that, but I still have tons of candy to get rid of. Hey, why didn't I see any trick or treating dogs tonight? Trashy halloween costume news articles were everywhere this year, that story got old really quickly. Going to settle in later and watch Private Practice, anyone else watching the show? Can you tell I'm bored right now?

I'm not dressed up. BUT...I did go to a Halloween party over the weekend dressed as a Mormon missionary.

Deanna, I'm watching Private Practice and loving it. Naomi started out as a rather unsympathetic character, but she's growing on me.

UP:

In the pilot of Private Practice, wasn't Naomi the actress who was the roommate in the early years of the TV series Alias?

I think they switched her for the new season.
