Adios!

I leave tomorrow morning for a trip to Cancun. I've never been to Cancun, so I am excited to discover a new vacation destination. Actually, almost everyone I know has been to Cancun before, so it is about time I visited.

Here are some highlights from my upcoming trip:

1. White sand beach, turquoise water. Very nice.

2. Seven(!) pool areas, including one infinity pool. I need that.

3. Swim-up bar. Sounds like trouble, but at least there aren't a blackjack tables in the pool (as there are at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino).

4. Housekeeping turns towels into swans. A little corny, but I will no doubt appreciate the gesture.

Hopefully, I will have computer access so that I can post trip updates from the beach.

Have a good week!

It's been a few years, but the lounge chairs at the infinity pool were the best...it was my favorite spot. I think I even had better drink service there too!

Just don't eat a poo taco like J did. Wouldn't want you to get the Hepi!

oh wait....I remember now, you're not staying at the same place. Forget the pool comment, but listen to the poo one!

Another suggestion, a massage on the beach. A lot of the hotel spas have little huts to do beach massages, they're awesome!

Yes, different resort. Sadly, your resort is still under construction, so it wasn't an option.

I need to ask: how do I tell the difference betweeen a "poo taco" versus a non-hep taco - just by sight? I think I will skip all tacos and opt for my Aruban diet, i.e. french fries only.

You suck. Maybe you should throw in a poo taco. It looks like a nice crib.

Those pictures are lovely. I hope you have a wonderful time. I have been to Acapulco and thought it was too cold and the water wasn't very pretty. I think Cancun is a lot farther south, though. So, no worries. I look forward to a trip report.

I hope your trip is fantastic. I like the swan robes. Can you imagine trying to do that? Or me, anyway, "NO! You've got the neck all wrong!"

Luckily, Sis got the ole hep shot. This way, if she's slipped a poo taco unsuspectingly, she's safe. Disgusted, but safe...
